The edge is encircled by a yellow band and blue dashes Reserved amongst the flowers is a medallion containing the initials and date 'M/G E' over '1676'. Decorated with a symmetrical group of formal tulips and carnations springing from a two-handled globular vase. Circular with curved sides, and everted rim, standing on a footring. Tin-glazed earthenware, painted in blue, pale greenish-turquoise, yellow and orange, with a vase containing tulips and carnations, and inscribed 'M/G E' over '1676' blue dash borderīuff earthenware, the front tin-glazed, and painted in blue, pale greenish-turquoise, yellow and orange the reverse covered with pale slip and slightly greenish lead-glaze.
